ppm rising in flower

Hiya
I have a dp auto Euforia in dwc. She probably has 2 weeks max left so I'm trying to get my bloom nutes dialled. Currently I'm mixing Canna Flores a&b to about 800ppm then adding Canna bloom @ 4ml/litre and Pk13/14 @ 1.5ml/l. This brings me up to about 1000ppm (that's full strength according to their numbers) 2 days later that's up to 1250 but tbh she seems to be soaking it up.
Should I continue even though ppm is rising or should I cut back on something and if so then which of the 3 should I reduce?

It is normal. Some strains are using less nutes prior to harvest. Dilute it and keep going. It could also be a root problem, but if roots look healthy, it would be the first case.

Ok thanks so in this situation what would you lower, the canna Flores, boost or pk13/14?
Here she is, day 71, tent is 2 X 2 just to give scale. For a complete noob I'm pretty pleased!

i would use the flores and the boost. drop the pk 13/14.

if you were at 1000 before, go for 700 and see if the ppms drop or rise. if they rise, dilute to about 500 ppm. if they drop, then stay at 700.

in general, the other poster was correct: the plant will use less nutes at the finish. i'd say you have at least 2 weeks to go. maybe 3.

just keep your ppms where they are constantly dropping and you'll be fine. when they rise, dilute until they drop.

and yeah, the plants looks nice and healthy. a bit of tip burn on some leaves but well done!

Ok great thanks. That's what I did during veg, 800 seemed to be the sweet spot. So when the started flowering I mixed at 800 plus the additives that's when it started rising again.
I'll bring it down and see how I get on.
Thanks for the comps. Yeah I'm well chuffed. These auto strains are just incredible, I only switched to bloom nutes on 08/07 so that's 3 weeks of flowering and already I'm at the pistles retreating/callyx swelling phase. It's like watching a grow video on fast forward!

before you cut them down, put up some pix. do you have a scope to look at the trichs? if not get one. a cheap USB 100x scope on Ebay is about 20 dollars. well worth it.

To be honest that's not something I'm monitoring closely. I do a res change when I'm down to about 25% of what I put in which is normally between 12 - 15 litres, I do this maybe every three days. But that's just a guesstimate...

I have ordered one which goes up to 90. As far as I know, you want a mix of clear and cloudy trichs, depending on if you prefer a heavy hit (more cloudy) or uppy buzz (more clear). Have I got that right...?

i go for mostly cloudy, some amber. clear means they aren't quite done yet.

Thanks for replies so far gents. Ok mixed at 730 this morning 12 hours later it's about 780. So it's still rising but seems less rapid.
Go lower? And would I be ok simply to dilute the rez water down to say 500? Or should I mix up a new solution? I'd rather do the first - otherwise I'm wasting a lot of canna boost which costs a f'ing fortune... cheers!!

Am I understanding you that you don't keep the water volume the same daily and you just let it drop to 25%? Well that's why your ppms are rising.

Correct, I don't keep the water at the same level. I don't let it get critically low but yeah when around 2/3 or 3/4 has been drunk I fill her up.

yep, add plain water until you get to 500 or 600ppm. just get to a point where its' dropping, not rising.

nope, water level can drop without causing ppms to rise.

If your plants are using water at the same rate as nutrients sure, that obviously isn’t happening here.

you must not have read or understood post 1? ppms rising, water dropping=too strong EC/ppm

ppms can also drop as water level drops. or ppms can remain constant as water drops.

I understand of course and that’s what I said.
