Power Supply for Camper

Im going to be using a truck camper to grow, but need some kind of power supply. I dont want to use power from the cabin, so would it be possible to use car batteries or something like that, or would I need a generator? Ill be checking on it every 2 weeks, so I need enough power to run lights and a heater in the winter for that time.

Thanks 4 the help!

Generator would be my only guess. Checking on your plants every 2 weeks can be a real disaster. If lights go out, you are screwed :(

Ya I know, Id like to check more frequently but thats as often as I can get out there. I already tried an indoor grow and got busted by the 'rents, and there isnt enough time to start outdoor again. My whole outdoor grow of 300+ seeds got wiped out by all the rain, and I only have 3 small scraggly survivors so Im going to try indoor again, and my camper is the only place Id be able to do it. I need to get my own place soon.....

It was BC Bud, we had a really wet summer this year and the rain flooded everything. Ya it really sucks after spending all that cash, so now I gotta do something over the winter to make up for it.

I would not trust a generator running unattended...plus unless your growing commercial LARGE, you will be paying out the ass for fuel (You will need a fuel truck on site piped to the generator). Also, retail backup generators are normally made for temp. use and break down from time to time.
Unless you have a hell of a solar cell setup with a large battery bank and a industrial DC to AC converter, you are not going to do anything with batteries.
