Power Plant and White Rhino soil grow

okay, i'm thinking of how to get the most bud the quickest. i'm wondering if i take two clones from each plant, veg them out for a few days under the hps then flower out 8-10 clones instead of 4-5 full size plants. any thoughts from anyone?

my thoughts are the same as yours, i made bigger plants this time to get clones and then next run i will do smaller plants with more of them so that it takes less time for them to veg, overall makin it a shorter time to harvest..

DAY 27

well the plants will be 4 weeks old tomorrow, and they are looking nice. they are loving the 400 watt hps. they still get distilled water with grow big at 2 tsp per gal, about 500ppm. stupid air conditioner started freezing up at about 5:00am last night and temps climbed steadily. they peaked at about 90F had to crank it all the way and maitained temps at about 85F until lights out. once it defrosted and kicked back on for the plants "sunrise" it was back to normal and temps are back at 78F and humidity is at 40%. Ph is sitting slightly below 7. what kind of results has anyone had with C02, i was looking into it but only if it makes a significant difference.

that was just some cheese that i came across, it was so pretty though just had to snap a pic. hopefully will be growing stuff as nice soon.

here's some pics from day 29 on friday 8/15 i'm just now am getting around to putting them up, but i'll get some new pics tonight when the lights come on.

DAY 29
I didnt get a pic of white rhino # 3, but she is still doing ok. will get pic of her later. i have clipped of the bottom few branches from the all 5 and have saved most to try and get some clones going, but will have to see how many make it.










heres the little clones

there's about 13 or 14 in there and i really only have room for about 8 or so. but i am really happy with the way the plants are going from seed. i will start flowering them withing 2 weeks if the clones done make it.

wow, from growing with bag seed to using real premium seeds you can really see the difference. and it's amazing how the strains area really noticeably different. look at this!

okay, i think i'm going to start flowering tonight. i'm going to flip back the timer to 12/12 starting monday and will flush out the soil to start adding flowering nutes. i was going to wait until 6 weeks. with with all the plants around 12 inches tall i don't want them to be too big once they get into flowering. this first plant i had tripled in size.

man your plants look great I was watching this show on pot-tv.net "mr green" and he said you could use soad water for your c02. put it into a spray bottle and spray three three times a day. He had it set up with a timer with a huge bottle of co2. I don't how it works cause I am a newb at this but, I have fallen for growing MJ I can't get enough info.

yeah man thanks for the tip. i have seen the mr. green video but i dont know about misting plants while flowering as the buds may mold. i am giving a lot of thought to a CO2 system,they have one one htg for $300. but i guess i should do a few grows first to see the difference.

okay, it's been a while since i've updated anything. lots of end of summer stuff happening. but i am happy to say that so far 2 female while rhinos and 2 female power plants. 1 was showing female flowers, but withing 1 day when hermie and was covered in male flowers. but hopefully non of the others will do the same i will have 4 nice ladies!

DAY 54 (FLOWERING DAY 20)


Here's a shot of the girls overall. The hermie is now long gone with only 2 white rhinos and 2 power plants left. the rhinos are showing a lot more crystals so far, but they still have about 5 more weeks to fatten up.

DAY 65 ( FLOWERING DAY 31)

The plants are looking great, they're about half way through flowering and I can't wait till they're all done. I'm not using any C02, but the fox farm nutes are working great. The buds on the rhino's are fatten up nice, and the resin production is in over load!

Here's an over all shot, I harvested the other bagseed plant I had in there and so there is plenty of room for the ladies to stretch out.
