NOTES
-had either a deficiency or PH problem early in veg - thinking it might be from using roots organic from seed???? any thoughts??
-one nutrient feeding according to online feeding schedule resulted in nute burn - not going to feed rest of veg
-starting to think the online feeding schedule of 1 tbsp per gallon of water is way too strong for an already strong brand of nutes... thoughts??

So it sounds like you are using almost pure compost to grow your plants in.....then adding liquid fertilizer regiment as well. That is super overkill...you are going to get locked out with that much availability. Try using 50% roots to 50% light warrior.....you shouldnt even need to fertilize this for a couple weeks, just plain water. Even in bud, your mix is way strong(pure compost), roots is compost, would never use it straight unless your putting some "trees" into it, the adding happy frog to it makes it even hotter, then adding fertilizer to that....just asking for problems! More fert. and compost doesnot equal bigger buds.....use half roots to half pro-mix or light warrior....then use tea or go less than the suggested amount on liquid ferts, use these every third watering! Good luck

Thanks for the advice! For flowering I am using happy frog and ocean forest, so far I am not too fond of roots organic. Yea I gave them nutes in veg after 4 weeks so I figured they would need it but Age Old is pretty strong so I'm gonna try 1/4 strength next time.

Another Monday, another update. I went a little picture crazy.

Power Africa
*3 weeks flowering
*40" ( grew 1/2 inch a day instead of 1" like the first two weeks)
*5 ml of Humbolt Honey ES on tuesday
*Fed 1/8 strength Age Old Bloom and Age Old Kelp on Friday
*This week a few fan leaves on the bottom yellowed up, tips turned brown, and eventually popped off (reasoning behind Friday's feeding)
*The smell is amazing at this point, but its not overly powerful

Super Sour OG
*2 weeks flowering
*30 1/2 inches (only 1" total for her second week :-()
*Haven't given her anything but water and she's been loving it, but because she was transplanted on the same day as my Power Africa, and is using the same soil combination, I'm going to be feeding her next watering.
*starting to get some smell to her

etting extremely excited to take pictures every Monday! I recently got a Small Boy filter and have been using it since Wednesday. Still got PH drops and I PH water to about 6.5 every time using organic lemon juice, freshly squeezed by me. Can't test after i add molasses and stuff though because its too dark. PH and TDS meter will be arriving soon.

Power Africa - Seedsman Seeds

-4 weeks flowering
-40 1/2" (pretty much just the cola growing now lol)
-7.5 ml of Humboldt Honey Es on Wednesday with filtered water
-Regular filtered water, PHed down to 6.5 on Saturday
-bottom fan leaves are starting to yellow up and was wonderind if anyone had any answers as to whats going on?? last 8 pics
-ahead of its time in my opinion lol, buds are pretty big already and they are real trichy!!

Never did a grow, but I have been reading here for about a month to do one in the new year (wahoo!) and when a plant's leaves start to yellow at the bottom but not all throughout the plant that could mean that the plant is using its bottom leaves up as food and eating them for nitrogen. A big, hearty plant like that might appreciate a little nitrogen supplement but I don't think it would be necessary.
