Isn’t zerotol very similar to this mixture? I mean it definitely kills on contact, but if that’s the only treatment used it will come back. I love zerotol, it’s good stuff, but it by itself only temporarily gets rid of pm.
Not familiar with zerotol. Thanks for the mention. I'll have to check out the ingredients.

If you think about it, everything is temporary. :eyesmoke:

A vinegar and water solution is great for cleaning walls, floor, containers, etc. in a grow area too.

Have you had any problems with plants burning or getting otherwise fucky when you spray them with a vinegar solution ?

No, not all. The solution isn't very strong, its 31 parts distilled water, and 1 part 5% acetic acid. And it works and it will not hurt the plant. The idea is based on the metabolic nature of a cannabis plant. All cannabis plants create acetic acid on their own, they build their cell walls with it, and they secrete it through their cell walls to defend their selves from fungi attacks! But lots of strains don't secrete enough of it and from my understanding that is simply because of where the plant evolved. My third year Biological Science Professor explained it something like so... The cannabis plant originated in a extreme sub-tropical region, so from its very infancy it had to fight-off some very nasty plant eating fungi just to survive. And they devised a way to do that by secreting acetic acid through their cell walls. But as the original cannabis plant made its way to different regions on earth, it had to adapt to living in the environment it was now having to grow in. So, for example... a cannabis plant that evolved in a desert like area, (in dry ancient sea-beds), has very little need for a fungi defense, but more importantly, cannabis plants that evolved in those kinds of very hot places nearly stopped secreting acetic acid through their cell walls because the amounts of acetic acid that they were secreting would have actually resulted in them burning its own leaves. So through evolution, cannabis plants that have evolved in those regions naturally have little defense to fungi attacks. And the cannabis plants that have evolved in places like they originated from, have SUPER defenses against fungi attacks!
