I would assume for them to make more money? For real though IDK. Maybe they suggest a boost of nitrogen and phosphorus for flower stretch.
I don't use it, I just use 3-2-1 all the way through, with maybe a PK boost towards the end. The 10-30-20 reduces overall nitrogen, even though it has a higher N ratio than the 5-12-26, because you don't use CalNit with the 10-30-20. Theoretically it's supposed to reduce stretch, and help with budset, but reducing N when the plant wants it most seems backwards to me.
