Powder nutrient dispenser

Hello dear farmers,

Does anyone know how can i achieve automated powder dispenser for my nutes? I will setup RO tank, from which i will pump my water to feeding tanks to my boxes, and i need solution to dispense powder to it, i will have a small pump that will circulate all the time to mix them, but i cant find any viable solution online to scoop lets say 3 grams and trow it in... Automation is paramount, so if there is no device for what i need, can i maybe dillute powder before hand into bottles and from them dispense them into my feeding tank? Anyone did this allready? Thanks for your help! <3

You'll be much better off mixing the powder to RO water in a high concentration to be dispensed that way. Powder is too variable.

Cool, tnx, i had same idea, 3d print container with some kind of stirrer to mix it before sending to feed rez, and calculate how much is sent...

They have dosers made for this exact application. I don't kbow how its exactly setup or if it interacts with like a flow meter you could add to your water outlet, but people have used them with success. Especially commercial grows. They almost all use them.

Yes, i have seen those... Those still depend on having liquid concentrates... And im all diy and open source, i have found o-s design for peristaltic pumps here: https://github.com/iGEM-Aachen/Open-Source-Peristaltic-Pump
But i was hoping to eliminate process of makingmy own solution... Im aiming to create hassle free 2lb per month production system for med patients, so far i have automated environment, lights and water distribution, only nutes left... Ill aim for a modified version of this: https://github.com/drolsen/DRO-Matic

Like I said... Make your own concentrate bro. It's not difficult to add a bunch of powder to a gal of RO water.

Next run (god knows when) ill try full raw industries line, comparing it with canna aqua line, to get some data, but in general, would like to have powder nutrient dispenser for my nootropics also... Make my own stacks instead of buying premade ones...

Making a concentrated stock solution and using dosers makes way more sense than investing in a machine to automate the weighing out of powders. Weighing powder is not that time consuming of a task.

You like wasting money on canna Huh? You need to use jacks 321. Raw's expensive too nutrients are all just compounds. All the same. This is all marketing hype. Understand this.

As I've told him. make 1 gal batchs of each part that hold 100gals, unless it's an all in one like MegaCrop, and stick your dosatron feed lines in them.

No need to get salty here... Jacks dont ship outside US and Canada, so i make with what ive got, and its not about money, its about results, as i mentioned... Plus powder dispenser would have been aplicable to any powder... Most diy friendly solution seems to be making batches of concentrates, as you said... Tnx for the input guys, happy growing!

I'm not salty brother! Just explaining the truth. I'm so sick of seeing people come here saying they're using Canna or Advanced Nutrients when they're such wastes of money. So unnecessary.
I just want you to have success and the dosatron dunked Into 3 separate parts of micro grow and bloom nutes will be really cool to see pics of if you can make it work!

Keep your feed food grade.
Go with a PLC mixing system or timer(s)
Keep in mind the humidity, you'll want a heated (dry) unit or be cleaning it daily.
