I would use a good organic bagged soil and water in with plain 6.5 ph water. I would not drench the whole entire new pot just the slightly larger area of the the old/smaller pot. I usually wait until the old pot is ready for a watering because in my experience if I try to transplant a wet pot, sometimes the roots and soil break off. (: :peace:

I used Jack's Magic for a long time, it was always good stuff. I stopped using it because supplies dried up during the first lockdown. I notice it is now available in a low peat formulation.

Either really
These threads all touch on how to mix good soil and will give you an idea of what's needed to mix your own.
I couldn't find this really awesome thread I read on here back in the day that had a organic soil mix I mimicked once upon a time. It included things like eggshells baked in the oven, shrimp shells also baked in the oven, both pulverized in a food processor and added to prepackaged organic soil/compost with peat, perlite, worm castings, dolomite, sand and some other things. Theirs wasn't exactly what I mixed but mine included all the things above and I was able to rotate it and add amendments to it for years before switching.
If you're looking for premixed things people have suggested are pretty popular on this forum. Things like fox farms products, happy frog ect. Biobizz line is quite popular as well. I suppose these things would change depending on what part of the world you're in.
