Potentiometer help

Hello everyone I’m looking for a little help. I have a led build that I have made and used already. It is a 15 bridgelux eb2 build wired in parallel to a hlg-320h-20b as per the famous led gardener build. Using heatsinks from heatsinksusa and then in some aluminum angle. I have used it for about 8 months and used it to flower 2 times. Works nicely but this time need to do a full cycle grow. I was wanting to hook a potentiometer to dim the lights for when they are getting started before this run I didn’t have anything hooked up to the dimming leads on the driver. So I ordered a pot from amazon 100K OHM Linear Taper Rotary Potentiometer B100K Pot with Knob and 3-Pin JST-XH2.54 Connector Lead(Pack of 2) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071GL8GYS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_0KfWEb58Z8SDD
Will this work. It arrived and I didn’t realized I had the one with the 3pin attachment on it. I did want something that doesn’t require any soder. It is a 2 pack so the first one I just cut the connector of and then used wagos to connect the wires from dimmer lead to the wires on the pot but it doesn’t work... anyone that could help me out with this? Thanks in advance
