Potency issues, No stone after 57 days?

Well this is my first grow and first harvest. One of my plants had nearly 100% cloudy trichomes and 80% brown/red hairs. So I chopped a branch, not a main cola but a secondary decent cola. Cut the fan leaves off, trimmed the smaller leaves, hung it the dark to slow dry for five days @ 75 F. Dried nicely. Put it a jar to cure for only two days. Today, the much awaited day. I pulled the nice nugget out of the jar. Sticky as hell, right texture, good burn.................... ZERO HIGH. Can a plant be completely covered in trichomes and have zero potency? Should I have waited for all amber trichs? I'm much more concerned with chopping early than chopping late. Here's a pic of the nug in question. Strain was a clone donation and it's either a Mango or a Hash Plant, has golfball looking nuggets.

Some strains develop the thc very late in flowering. Keep following it along, it's part of getting to know your brood! You have to court your ladies to know their g-spot.

This sometimes happens when a Runderalis is crossed with Indica or sativa, In order to achieve a shorter flower time or autoflowering plant.
Runderalis have little to no THC but flower under any conditions, hence autoflower. Breeders have experimented with this genetic quality to achieve dank buds with autoflowering traits.
It is like playing yatzee with genetics, some will be dank but most will be negatively affected and very few seeds will grow quality plants.
Ask the person you got it from where they got their cutting or seed. It's likely this is the cause
I wouldn't keep it around though, takes up space and is essentially useless.

Quick question for you guys. Especially if you've grown and dialed in a specific strain. If you cut down a strain a week earlier than it SHOULD HAVE been cut down does it make a marginal/small difference in the quality of the smoke/stone or a does that does missing the window by a week obliterate the quality of the stone?

Everything about this plant tells me it's done but the smoke. What a bummer. Plant in question. Been starved of Nitrogen for two weeks. Kool Bloom and Sweet is all it's getting now:

What kind of help is that? Tell the guy to throw out his plant because you think someone slipped him a faulty seed ..... you didn't even read what he said.

Meh, flamers abound ya! Greenhouse Seeds (I don't buy them but they are industry pioneers for some things) recently added cannabinoid testing and thc profiling to their growing list of tech toys. They have been doing progress tests to add to their grow profiles, guess what they are finding? I literally just read this today, but some strains are showing less than 2% thc up to the week of "peak" levels. Go look at their grow vid for the strain "super bud". It's totally possible, besides you still have some white pistils right so if it comes in the next week or two that you don't have any more white pistils and the trichs are around 10% amber. Your potency will be in and it will continue to develop as you cure it (I like a good month).

Ah, now some pics. Personal opinion..... another couple weeks. Don't worry like you said, about cutting late, as it wont happen over night bro!

id say that really sux, someone else told me to be careful on what i buy for some shit looks real good and doesnt do shit.. I'm guessing its something like your explaining. id take colocowboy's advice and wait it out hopefully it gets better but at least your not just tossing it away for what if it does get better? ud just miss out on all that bomb ass bud bro!
