Potatoe buds?

Im sure most of you have picked up a sack ro two that the smell kind of resembled potatoes a bit.. I was wondering if this could be at all cause by the Co2 system that uses yeast and sugar as its source of Co2. To me, the lingering smell of the yeast from the Co2 would accumulate in the nugs and therefore you would get that potatoe like smell as an end result? I would appreciate anyone that has tried this method to comment and tell me if my hypothesis was wrong.
I was never fond of the potatoe nugz :/

Yea me too, but its better than smoking nothing... I mean the nugs are fire, just seems like it could have been grown in a less potatoe like environment? I am thinking of just getting a co2 canister and just releasing a bit in the morning to gie my plants the Co2 thy need instead of taking my chances with potatoe nugz, i mean the yeat and sugar idea could work great for vege as it did for me, but I dont thnik I would be too pleased if I waited all this time to be smoking hash browns.

What on earth does the above mean?

a sack or two... a bag of weed or two?

Maybe the guy you bought the bud from used a sliced potato to moisten the buds up and add a little weight?

Possibly, or the person before him... mainly the reason i am growing my own nugs, so i dont have to deal with any of the bullshit and the convenience.

yea the nugs would be more damp than the usual chronic that floats around.. Nobody likes potatoe nugs :/

I don't recall ever getting a bag that smelled like potatoes. I'm not really sure if the homemade Co2 could cause that or not??

As for the fans, keep them on even during the dark period. You want as much ventilation as possible 24/7.
