potato pot

i was wondering, is potato a good companion plant (more to affect flavor, if anything) to grow with?

i may not be the best qualified to answer this because I don't grow a lot of potatoes for food, but I do grow potato vines outside for decoration. Ornamental plants tolerate cohabitation with potatoes well enough, but potatoes are water hogs. Cannabis is a bit of a water hog too. I would guess that having both in the same pot would be a bad idea.

Thanks for the advice. Right now they are both in a small pot. If I transplant them into a 5g bucket, will that be enough room for them both to thrive. ie: the potato roots can have more room to grow away from the MJ roots¿?
