Potassium/CalMag

Hi so apologies if I’m repeating myself I know I made two similar threads recently, but I still got the issues going since last week really and I don’t know what else to do as there is still something not right and I tried everything so here’s some info:

-Organic Canna Soil
-Bio canna flo/booster/rhizotonic
-Bit of cal mag agent every feed

So it’s all started last week, I checked the runoff first and figured I had the lockout (ph 7.8) flushed them with 6.2 water then next feed fed them again just with 6.2 water. Yesterday i had checked run off was 6.8 and I fed them lightly with Canna bio Flo/Booster/rhizotonic. That’s how they look as for today (see pics). It’s not the light cus I checked the lux (yeh I know it’s not too accurate but lux meter is the only one I have) I use lumtek ats pro 300w 16inch from canopy. Temperature during the day is 26 night 21 Celsius degrees. Humidity 42-50. I don’t overwater as I always wait till the soil is pretty dry so fuck knows I’m running out of ideas and I think I’m gonna ruin this grow cus clearly still something wrong.

I’m thinking about adding CalMag or pk 13/14 next feed, tho I run organic nutrients so I’m not sure if they can be mixed together? I’m not even sure if I can give them pk13/14 with CalMag at the same feed? Or any other ideas what’s wrong with them ? I’m panicking here

Has the damage got worse or is it the same?

Plants are tricky. They stress fairly quickly and are slow to recover. Leaves don't heal either, so once something goes wrong, you can only pay attention to how it advances. If it stops in its tracks after a week, your good, if it keeps progressing, respond accordingly.

Well I got rid of the damaged foliage but some of the leaves had already yellow or burnt tips so I need to watch them for another few days, I think that discolouration is progressing so I’m wondering maybe there is some deficiency so I’m wondering wether I should wait few more days and see how it goes or just give them CalMag and pk 13:14 next feed, can I mix them both together and can I add flo fertiliser as well or just them two?

Sorry, I am affraid that those questions are out of my depth, but I'm sure someone around here can be of some help.

Best of luck.

The damage is occurring on the upper leaves which indicates over feeding. NPK all show deficiency on oldest growth and excess on newest.

You’re giving pK booster every feed?

what are the NPK values of your nutrients that you are feeding it?

Well cus what I had done when the issues started was flushing them with water ph 6.2 then second time (after three days) I fed them with water 6.2ph and then yesterday (so another three days) I gave them very light solution so I used 12L of tap water (I let it stand for 24hrs), before adding nutes ph was just above 7. I added 5ml of canna bio rhizotonic, 20ml bio booster, and 25ml of canna bio flo and after adding nutes the ph of the solution was 5.5-5.6 and normally in this case I use to add a bit of bio bizz organic ph up to bring the ph back to around 6.3-6.5 but I haven’t done it yesterday cus I thought if the runoff was at 6.8 then I’d add solution with slightly lower ph than normal this time. So I’m not sure what to do next should I give them just plain water or feed them lightly again cus I was thinking about feeding them only once/twice a week now so I can feed them let’s say Sunday Wednesday and then plain water on Friday. But I’m not sure what to do at this point should I feed them next time with light solution and should I add PK 13/14 if that was locked out ? Or just give em plain water. I mean I think I corrected the lockout cus as I said the runoff yesterday was at 6.8 so within the range.

Yeh before the issues started I had been giving them canna bio booster and bit of cal mag every feed but I never gave them pk13/14. I fed them twice a week with the solution of (CalMag, bio rhizotonic, bio Flo and bio booster) and third feed in a week was just with plain water.

Hmm I gave them fair amount of CalMag before the issues begun so I don’t think it’s mag deficiency, I think it might be K lockout but not sure, don’t know what to do at this point, I’m worried I fucked up this grow

Don't sweat too hard my guy. The scale doesn't go from perfect directly to shit. I've had crops in much worse shape than yours get me plenty high.

Make small changes, wait a week, and repeat to get her back on track and she will be fine by harvest.

Thing is I had flushed them once then three days after I gave fed them just with plain water and yesterday I gave them light solution but I haven’t added any CalMag to it.
When you flush you should reintroduce nutrients . Flush to reset , then feed or your starving them.

To answer your question on pk and calmag, yes you can use them both together. You will likely see some clouding as pk does tend to drop out a bit.
You could dilute your pk in one jug first , as in put your required pk into a jug of water, same with calmag, then add those jugs to your bucket of water, seems to help with binding and dropping out.

I couldn't say if the pk will help , but less is more , don't get carried away with it, seen pk13/14 cause more problems than most things from people been slap happy with it.

Do u think it’s better then just to stay with basics for now so light feed with Flo and rhizotonic and keep CalMag and pk13/14 out ?

Cheers my mate, I might wait with CalMag and pk13/14 and see how they’d be doing eventually I add it later, not sure 100% if I’m right but think this is the best I can do atm

Well I gave up using either and I'm in coco so I don't see you'd need them. Rhizo falls into the same category but it won't do you any harm unlike the other two.

I assume you mean canna bio flores ?

Why not just increase your feed to recommended dose and drop the cal mag

I might do that, just use rhizo and flo on full strength + yeh they both canna bio. I’m just wondering if I should feed them with this solution next time and then use just plain water afterwards so my schedule basically would be three times a week, two with fertiliser and third just water or is it better to give them fertiliser just once a week and then twice plain water ?
