2 plants? 12l should be fine if on drip, if not then 10 gal
I have 2 , 12l in now, and they are working a treat, good plants, but I wasn't sure if I should put a bigger size in, and only one plant, and hope it produces bigger yeild

needs a drip or itll get rootbound fast. id keep the 2 plants
I respectfully disagree........it doesn't need a drip to keep from getting rootbound.
I have never had a rootbound plant and I grow in 2.4 gallon pots.
All it takes is manual frequent fertigation to run off.

Has anyone ever done two grows the same but used a much bigger pot for one of them, and if so, could you see a huge difference in the yeild?
Yield in different container sizes is a matter of time . And your yield should be looked at as an annual contribution. How you divide the time in veg and flower works both ways. Small containers and short veg periods is the famous original sea of green. Quicker so more grows per year. Do it the other way with large containers and endless veg and you have more yield but more time. I found that different strains prefer different sizes. I grew Jack's Cleaner that was large and vigorous. So big containers suited it fine without alot of veg. A true champ in a room. My hindu kush will grow out well in midsized containers. Or small containers packed tight. On my perpetual grow, it helps to put the same size container in the room as came out. But like any mad botanist, you shift the puzzle around for accommodation. That's the fun....

Right let me rephrase, if you have a life get a drip. if your life is the garden then I guess its not a big deal. I can leave my 10+ HID light garden for 2 weeks unattended.

How much does said tree yield for you without drip?

My last grow I yielded 19.5 oz. off of 3 plants with a veg time of only 23 days.
This is average for me........I usually yield between 5 or 7 oz. per plant with a 3-4 veg.
I feed once per day to run off in veg and twice a day in flower.
