im growing 2 blue cookies fem in a 3x3x6 tent. They were out of 5 gallon pots. I was wondering if the 7 gallon pots are to big? Please help. I don’t wanna outgrow my room

I have 2 15 gallons, and 2 3 gallons in my 2x4 veg tent. I could use 5 gallon pots though instead of the 3's if I wanted. I'm in soil, doing organics. But it's only my veg tent, so they don't need to stay in there too long. If I was flowering in it, I would only use the 2 15's. Here's a pic from June 1st.

So I’m basically in the clear with 2 7 gallons. Cause u said if u were flowering you would only have the 2 15s in there correct.

It depends what medium your growing in. In soil, I think the bigger the better. Nutes aren't as easily accessible growing organically. With coco and hydro, it doesn't need as big of a pot. Hope this helps.

Cool sounds good man. It does help. Fox farm happy frog is what I’m going with. I was told it’s good for beginners. If it’s not to much of a problem. I wanted to ask u. I have this light. For the same 3x3x6 tent. Do u think it’s good enough for my 2 flowers or do u recommend any other good lights under 150 if possible lol ..

Ya your all good. This is what happens when you outgrow your room. I had 9 in a 3x8 last time in 10 gal pots. That's all the pots I could fit in the space. Not necessarily a bad thing. Haha.

Lmao dope. That’s way to much for me. I hope In a year or 2 I can keep up w that many . I think 2 is to much but my girl said let’s go for it. So I hope I do good since this is my first run ever hahah

No shit. I went way overboard. Harvest time was a lot of work. I only have 2 in there now at day 63 today. And for the light question, that seems a little underpowered for proper flowering. I bought a Viperspecra off Amazon that I haven't even opened. I wish I could return it, but it's too late now. The quality leds lights are getting more reasonable in price nowadays, and the light quality is much better. I bought a few HLG 100 quantum lights last month, and was impressed, so I ordered a couple HLG 260 V2's in Rspec spectrum and a HLG 135 V2 in Rspec spectrum that I'm waiting to arrive. I don't have any actual experience with leds yet though, so maybe someone else can chime in on that one.

Gotcha. That’s exactly why I’m trying to look into it now lol. I still have 2 weeks to return it. I was actually on growerslight website .looking at a quantum board. Might have to pay a little money to get the best for the girls.

Ya that where I ordered my Rspec kits, but from what I've been hearing it takes a while to get your kits. Especially if your having him put it together for you. I ordered mine last Wed, and don't expect them for at least a couple more weeks. If you order off the HLG site you will get them right away, but they were out of stock on all the Rspec kits when I checked and I don't mind waiting.
