pot size, plant height, yield, rot bound

I about to switch to 12/12 cycle, but I am wondering if a 2 gallon pot will be big enough to grow a 3 foot plant without becoming rot bound. Growing night shade. Can I get so help here

you should have a pot that is sized for a gallon per foot of plant.. so if you wanna grow a three foot plant, you should have a three gal pot as minimum or even bigger.. hope that helps ya

If growing in dirt, what he said (although in all honesty you could get away with two gallons pretty easily).

If hydro, you don't need anywhere near that much.
