well i will try and find something to compare it with but when i have flowered in it once before after havest the root haven't got any roots coming from the bottom and the roots have not filled the pot but the leaves do go all funny on me like go all droopy and then go orange/brownish green and go really brittle and crispy but i never had anything to adjust p.h. and i mite have over done the nutrients so i will have to see what happens this time thanks every :leaf:

LMAO .. if that pot is 5 cm in the bottom .. I reccon its 10 cm high and 10 cm wide at the top .. lol .. erm .. use it for your magorits .. it can hold like a liter = 1/4 gallon give or take .. and that is like max ...

you need sumthing atlest 10x as big ... 12L = 3 gallon and that is minimum with a short veg time if any ...

i have a plant in a 4 gallon bin and i was gonna transplant it the other day but i couldn't find anything bigger to put it in but the roots are pretty much holding the dirt together they're kinda intense would it affect my plant flowering if i don't put it in something bigger?

and that looked like a guy in a wig in that vid

lol yea .. well I would for sure advice you to make a repot a week before flowering .. specialy if it allready is rootbound .. as the two fist weeks of flowering they stretch alot .. they will need room .. you can easily loose yild if you have a rootbound plant in flowering .. and you dont want to stress them in flowering .. so do it a week before so it have time to find its feet ..

of do as I and think you dont need to and have to do this 2 weeks in:

DSC00757.jpg

had to cut the bottom out so I did`t stres it to much .. btw thats a 26L pot = 7 gallon or so .. and littel pot is like 3 gallon or so ..

you choose ... I know what I will do on my new run .. and that do include a repot a week before 12/12 .. and I did even take it a step furter .. and made a flowering soil/coco mix for them big pots .. full of Bat guano .. Epsom salt .. Lime .. Kelp aso ...

and many more .. from 8 liter and up to 90 liter = 23,7 gallon or so .. that one cost 10$

I can get some nice round once in 40L/9 gallon or so .. for 8$

just make some big holes in the bottom ..

if its in a 4 gallon pot tho and the only other container i got is 5.5gallons do you think that it would do? or should i just use something else?

I think he allready told us the size .. 5cm at the bottom .. dont take a genius to find out that it then is max 10cm high and possible also 10cm wide (for house plants)

Im to lazy to do the mat and find out if it can hold 0,8 liter or 1,2

but one thing I know .. it is way way to small for a flowering plant .. might be ok for the fist 3 weeks tho ..

I just finished a grow using pots that were 3/4 of a gallon. I had space issues and this is all I could manage. I flowered a plant in a party cup last grow.

You can use that container no problem. If you have room then use a bigger pot but I have not seen the big difference in yield that some do. I have had a 1 gallon pot yield about the same as a 2 gallon.

Root-bound is a myth. Plants don't really get root-bound they will just grow smaller to compensate. It's a general rule that they will grow the same size above ground as you allow them grow below ground. Bigger is always better when it comes to pot size. The reason you want a big pot is because small pots will produce small plants.

yea I belive your right ..

tho then rootbound do exist .. just a term for a plant have reach its potensial then .. so if you want it bigger you need to repot .

but yea .. in general that is what it means I surpose .. I just know it sucks to throw a "rootbound" plant in to flowering ..
them fist two wweeks realy demands some room for it to continue to flower helthy (just my oppinion tho )
