Posting Pics From Flickr

Hello to all! I know this has probably been asked hundreds of times by now, but I am having trouble finding any conclusive answers. How do I post pics from flickr to here? I don't have a working computer at the moment and I use my Iphone(geo tagging OFF), but I can't post from it, while I can photo with it. So I decided to do the photo site. I have heard that I need to obtain the URL of my pic as it is at flickr, but, for the life of me cannot figure it out(mobile site and regular).
If anyone can help me I'll +rep. I am at a loss.
I really want to post my girls(proud papa)!
Please, anyone...:peace:

if you're on a pc, left click the image on your flickr page and select "copy image shortcut." this should 'copy' your pic url so you can 'paste' it into the url line.
keep in mind your flickr account is connected to your yahoo account and someone with a little bit of time/energy *could follow that e-path back to you that way too....(hint: unless you changed your settings (<-which i'm not even sure you can on flickr, never tried) your flickr member # shows up as part of the url for your pic)

hope this helps....

doesn't this site have a pic uploader? *off to investigate*

Thx for the response but I don't have a computer. That's the issue. If I did, I'd still have pics of all my old girls : ( and I'd be posting straight from my comp, not a photo site.
But how can this be done from the "full site" as seen from an iPhone ?:peace:

*duuuuh* sorry, must have missed the 'no computer' part last night (gee i wonder what i could have been doing that would lower my reading comprehension....? ;p).
i haven't used flickr on iphone yet (i have flickr, just no iphone) , but i'll fiddle with the man's once he gets home and see if i can figure anything out...

wow, canna-da eh? Cold as fuck, I imagine. Shoot, I'm chilly now and it's like 67-74 degrees. I've been away from the cold a while I guess. I use to live in the midwest, and we had lots o cold. Dang, I'm gonna smoke a bowl to warm up.

lol, contrary to popular belief, we do get to come out of our igloos every so often to tend our plants and maybe do some icefishing. of course, we have to bundle ourselves up until we can't touch our own noses, and even then you take your life in hand.... ;)
seriously though, it's not THAT bad.... (certainly not as bad as not knowing what 67-74 degrees is... oh wait yes i do... stupid metric.) the inland and eastern parts are just as nasty, weather-wise, as you've probably heard. here on the wet coast it mostly just rains a lot. where i am it doesn't get below, say, -10C (sorry i don't know what that translates to in F) more than once or twice a year, if that.

so, after having played with the man's iphone a bit, (he doesn't have the flickr app so i had to go through his browser), i found that if you click on the thumbnail to go to the full-sized image, and then touch and hold the full-sized image, it gives you a short menu; when i select 'copy' it copies the url so then you can 'paste' it into the url line.... right? (i pretty much only have baby pics on my flickr and wasn't about to use one of them to *actually test it out....;)....hope you don't mind lol.....)

No that's cool, thx, I never thought to hold on a pic(I mean why not? I do it all the time on other pics on other sites). I'm gonna try it! If it works I'm gonna feel dumb. But at least I'll have learned something new. Thx again.

Um, you start a reply, click on add attachment, you click add file, you browse for the picture you want to upload and select. Not too complicated

Hmm, didn't read my first post? I don't have a computer. iPhone doesn't react that way(browse for photos) thanks though!

Oh, mellokitty-- I tried The method you suggested three times. It does copy the URL, but when I tried to make it my avatar it said invalid file. But like I said, now we know.

Sorry for that earlier, it does work like you said-- it now keeps saying invalid file. Hmmm
