U are correct about her personal life but why bring it up? she cannot expect everyone to approve of her pictures or comments, this is a weed growing site not a kuroi fan club site , it's funny how people say to leave her personal life alone or not bring it up, but then do so when they find it convenient to use to excuse her action or words, hmmmm the irony
April, have you found me to be an uncritical Kuroi fan?
The implication with which I take real issue here is the false dichotomy ... one is either a member of the "fan club", or one is not a hypocrite of some sort.
The core of my request was based on my belief that there is a great deal of middle road between not approving of Kuroi's posts and being downright mean. I don't expect everyone (or anyone in particular) to approve of her posts or tales. But what I saw in these past coupla days is a young person reacting in a way that suggests she's under an awful lot of stress. It doesn't take comic-book powers of empathy to figure this out, but some folks seem to lack even the garden variety. I think everyone on this site who isn't obviously in it for trollery and a sort of verbal slamdancing should be extended the same sort of courtesy.
If someone in your life is obviously going throuh a narrow pass, don't you instinctively back off the usual frankness for a bit and cut that person some slack until things get a bit more settled? Any reason to not extend this action to someone whose posts you don't class as noise?
Now the one thing that could greatly affect this line of reasoning is a consequence of relative tenure. I've only been in T&T for some months, so I have not yet seen a precedent for Kuroi showing a sharp transition from her usually bubbly style to such a display of pain. You've been here rather longer. If this is a repeating pattern, my post would look partisan, even though it was not intended as such. You would know more than I, and I would hope that if this is the case, you'd toss me a clue. cn
