thanks alot for the reply mossys. i have saw many of your grows and aspire to have as many great of ones as you, all of yours look GREAT.!!!..
Cheers m8 appreciated.
Really looking forward to seeing how all the girls progress..
but I'm gonna be watching that PR especially.

CD
BigHill thanks for the advice.
It is all Good info..:leaf:
Experience..will help you fine tune it to your conditions.

I am also curious how mossy does it.
Because 90% of my girls are seeded..
I tend to use Tackiness to assess mine.
When bud is drying right..the trics lose the High tack..(sticking to your fingers..)
so I will seed strip and bottle the bud.

As i didn't really change much from long season cures.
I only realised with doing AF/long-season rolls.
If I have Sibling..AF/non-af phenos..
the AF Always smoke smooth and strong before the non-af.

My Thinking is..AF has an accelerated Growth/processes pattern..maybe it extends to the cure time too.

I'm sure once they have cured properly that the taste will be there also
It will m8..

SOA: That is some nice looking shit.. woooowzas. That is what i call bag appeal.
I had no idea you were such a honey pot for AF porn.. Cheers.
ha ha...SOA has more Stunning girls than Tiger Woods...

In AF terms..he is a Player...:-P

Lovely girls..great Variety

:eyesmoke:Well it has been a few days since I harvested the ladies. I manicured and weighed each branch. Dam it took my rookie ass forever to manicure. I started off being really anal but realized you just need to trim around the nugg. I tried to remove as many sugar leaves as possible. The total wet/stem weight for the 3 was 653.2 grams. The big Onyx was 179.9 grams, the small Onyx was 208.4 and the Easyryder was 264.9. I left the main cola's on the main stems with some side branches. So I know a lot of that is stem weight. Actually this morning I checked on them and both Onyx were really dry to touch with a little bend to the stems. Hopefully I didn't make a big rookie mistake, but I cut the 2 Onyx down and put into jars. I am not trying to speed the process, I want to cure them correctly! I can wait, trust me! I just am afraid of over drying. Well they sat inside the cabinet all day in the dark and about 65 degrees inside the cabinet with the RH in the 50% range in the cabinet also. As soon as I got home I took out all jars(7) and opened to check moisture. I noticed NO moisture build up anywhere inside the jars. The buds were moister than this morning though! I have all jars laying down with the lids off to dry out some. How long should I leave open each time? I decided to weigh each jar to get an idea of what I can expect once dryed and cured. The total for both plants, seven jars is 103.3 grams. The big Onyx is 56.8 grams right now and the small Onyx is 46.5 grams. 3.6 Ounces ain't to bad for the 2 of them, and I still have to dry and weigh the Easyryder. Yeah some of the total for those 2 Onyx will evaporate, but I should at least pull 3 oz. from those 2. I feel good saying I could get at least an ounce and a half from the EasyRyder Fo Sho! If thats the case I am really happy with my first harvest, and can't wait to start the next grow! Anyway here are some pics of the harvest. Thanks for following!! all 3 are auto's... first pic is a blue himalaya female at 17 days. 2nd pic is a ak48 female at 22 days and the 3rd is a pakistan ryder at 25 days. All are in FFOF soil and 400 watt hps. have been giving them big bloom and molasses and also just started the pakistan ryder on tiger bloom as well for the first time a few days ago mixed with the big bloom and all our responding well to nutes. The ak48 got a lil too close to the lights and the leaves curled a lil but its all good now. Dont know why there is such a difference between the size of 2 and 3, they are only a few days apart, i have not done anything different as far as feeding or watering or lighting...ak48 must be a slow developer, it has been growin around a 1/2 inch a day the last few days, may just develop slower, i guess...?... Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks and happy growing to all......

thanks alot mossy's. Hope you have a great weekend as well. And, yes, that PR looks good and has started to really let her smell off. It will definately be a treat and it looks like it is going to be producing a decent size yield as well by the looks of all the bud sites popping up. im just gonna be patient, let her grow and cure her properly and enjoy the rewards.

Gonna start germinating soon! Gotta prep the cabinet ie put the supernova back in and give it a good cleaning! I will be following your grow as well. Thanks again!

New to the light and new to AF's..
you have done brilliantly.

Can't wait to see how the next ones do.

Write down the weight/height/name of the Biggest girl you harvested...
stick it in your signature...
and see if you can outgrow that on your second grow...:weed:

Mossys thank you! Yes I am very proud of my first grow and harvest! Dam proud and trying not to break my arm patting myself on the back. Lol. Yeah I am a rookie to all aspects of growing. Never tried to do any of this before. Like I've said in my thread I spent sometime reading doing research trying to retain all kinds of info. I gotta say I love my iPhone lol it has helped me a lot! No kidding. With the iPhone I was able to do a lot of research on breaks and lunch and any down time I had. It has become an invaluable tool for me. Sounds like a fucking advertisement lol. Anyway it does feel great to complete my first grow virtually hassle free. Just a lot of second guessing on my part hoping I didn't screw anything up. Lol. Wondering if my light would produce good results and stuff like that. Fortunately I have been retaining info and if I don't I can always come to RIU and find someone who has the knowledge. I love this site everyone is and has been great. As well as it should be since we all have the same goal, and that's to grow quality bud! Thanks again!

HigH people. Quick update on the weight and the curing. Well it's been almost a week since the Onyx went in to jars and about 5 days for the EasyRyder. I have been burping them a couple times a day. Still got a green smell to them. I hope that changes soon! I want to smell some pungent ChroniC. A few days ago I weighed each jar and had a total of 5.4 oz. I weighed them last night and have a total of 5.2 oz. Still very happy with that total and will be if it drops some more! It has been a total success to this point. After this first grow, I am realizing my ability to self sustain and save my loot! That's what I'm talking about, not paying for medicine! That's what it's all about!! I am confident in saying that this first harvest has paid for the Supernova! I will be totally in the black after my next harvest. Dam now I want a bigger space! lol I know I'm still a rookie who has a lot to learn. Don't want to get over confident. Here are a couple pics of the jars of medicine.
