Post up Pics of Trichs up near harvest time!!!!

Howdy. I was just shooting some pics of my trichs up close through my eye loup that I just got today, something I've never done before.

What you see hear are two different Northern Lights from Nirvana grown under a 150watt HPS on day 64 and 59.

You can see most if all the trichs are still pretty clear. Plan is to harvest at first sign of amber anywhere.

Do not just look for the first sign of amber, make sure you check the rest of them too. For example I have a pineapple express plant @ week 7 of flowering right now with a few amber trics, but the rest are still clear. Gotta wait for the cloudiness still!

My logic was that at the sign of amber, you would be at about milky, if trichs go from clear, to milky to amber.... that by the time you have say 10% amber, all of the other trichs should at minimum be milky.

I harvest when all trics are cloudy/milky, there are usually a few ambers kicking around by then too. What I was saying is if you just go by the first sign of amber you might be harvesting early. I have seen amber trics as early as week 6 in some of my grows, but nowhere near ready obviously. It all comes down to personal preference.

This is my first time actually observing the trichs up close, so I can't say that I have seen them turn for myself before. Although right now, I dont think I see ANY cloudy trichs anywhere on my plant? They all seem to still be clear. I will be watering tomorrow or the day after, so when I have the plant out I'll look closely.

Probably pulled my first harvest a week or two too early as well. I'm sure these don't look the way they did at harvest, but you can see the trichs on these buds that look like they were probably "crystal-clear" at harvest time.

These are NLs that were pulled on day 58 of flower.

im at 8 weeks today with my pyramids' Northern Lights! i checked my trichs yesterday and today..no amber just clear and milkey still but alot have went milky!
