Post Farming

Is anyone else noticing this?
It is mainly in the MMJ Problem and General Marijuana Growing sections etc. I have noticed if someone makes a thread either people repeat what others have already posted, make very irrelevant posts or they just throw out random suggestions even if it is obviously incorrect.

I have been having a few issues with my grow and have needed to resort to the MMJ Problems section but im not even sure if it is worth it because of the amount of different answers I get for a specific issue. Sometimes it is blatantly obvious someone has no idea what they are talking about. In the general discussion section there is a whole lot of repeating other peoples answers and also making same threads. I have seen 2 exact same threads on page 1. And dont even get me started on the trolls...Throwing people off the right track on purpose...

I just think that it is making the Grow section very, VERY counter-productive and inaccurate. If people must farm for their post count maybe they can stick to the cannabis cafe like in here, toke n talk and such...

This is not the case for every thread going as there is alot of extremely useful knowledge on RIU and some members are a great source of experience and information but I have to sift through the shit to find an answer alot of the time...

More nitrogen.

I have a PHD / Scientist --blah blah degree, so whatever I say is right!

I'm a farmer, and grow all sorts of plants professionally, so whatever I say is right!

I drop info about everything else other than growing cannabis, so whatever I say is right!

More phosphorus. Remember more is better~

Use menstrual blood for carbo~

Use urine for extra nitrogen~

**But on a serious note, before I even joined online forums, I used books as my main reference --still do sometimes (remember.. those things with words printed on paper).. RIU is great wealth of knowledge, but like you said, you gotta sift thru the info~

Don't listen to either of these newbs, you already have an abundance of both. Run a garden hose through it on full blast for 3 hours, should be good after that. Then LST the top two branches while dry-humping the stalk for a 15% gain in yield. Thank me later.


For real though, once your here for a while, you will know who to trust. Either wait on someone you trust to chime in, or send one of them a pm with full details and they will likely get back to you when they have time.

dont forget epsom salt....




and then at the very end of harvest when your plants need nutrients the most to finish their life cycle, take away ALL of their nutrients so the roots cant absorb metal into the marijuana

I put a couple drops of peroxide in my cloner when I don't have clonex. Roots appear about 4-5 days sooner than with just water.

Dont forget to piss on them
Before the cal/mag
and most certainly prior to adding mollasses

yep same here, i was right on what to do, trusted RIU members and got fucked. this place used to be a good forum to go to for advice on growing, its only good a couple of things, and add cal/ mag isn't one of them. grass city is just as bad, makes me think its all stoners.

i recently picked up some posts for my farm but i can't figure out what to feed them.

also how do i breed them? do i need a male and female? how do i keep them from going hermie?

ooops nvm i just saw some porno posts so i am good for now.


it is up to you to filter out the bad info and to do further research on the good info.

there is still a lot of help here but you still need to continue your research on the best answer or answers that are given to ensure they are in fact the best answers.

i know everyone says add cal/mag for everything and others chime in and yell why does everyone always say add cal/mag.
but guess what i finally started using it and it has helped.

you also need to realise that people also come to these forums to play a rep game. it doesnt matter how you get it as long as you have a long green bar.

After I posted this thread I didnt come back to it until now...I LoL'd so damn hard

pretty sure that its mostly stoners here, I all but stopped posting in the help sections long ago,

they don't want help or to actually learn to grow, they just want immediate answers and cheap smoke. fuck 'em, their plants can die.
