Hi ya :)

Ok i'm in the process of gathering all the knowlage i can about cloneing ...But a question come to mind that i dont see asked to often .

After taking a cutting from a mother ... does anyone treat the stump of the stem thats left behind on the mother ?

Anything that can be done to reduce shock or any negative harm to the mother ?

Am i overthinking this ?.... or could something be done to patch up the stump on the mother ?

Just a question :)

Thoughts please :)

I have never seen shock or harm to a good healthy mom from taking cuttings unless, too many were taken on the same day. I never have treated a stump.

Dont know whether you know this or not but i will let you know anyway.

It is good to clean your scalpal or scissors with rubbing alcohol inbetween cuts.

Thanks for your reply Rickman :)

I have taken 6 clones from 4 mothers ( first time cloneing myself ) Followed everything i have gathered more ore less to the letter ... All went well ...so now we wait :)

Thanks Jon :)

As you can imagin , My cloneing kit was way over the top and i made sure i had everything i needed :)... I was supprised at how sticky the sap was and how much it clogged up the scalple... so yes ! i made sure the blade was nice and clean between each cut :)

I watched my babys get cloned befor i got them ( i think i did one ) ... But this was my first attempt on my own , I have zero expectation as i know it could all go wrong ...so we just wait and see :).... Easy to remember the date i took them to ... It's my moms Birthday :)

Thank for your help Jon :)

I dont treat the stumps, but advanced nuts makes somthing called b-52 that is great for mothers and cuttings.Heres a pick of a chocolate rain clone /10 day cure so far.
