I would like to see a bud ready for harvest.
Posted are a few pics of mine taken 9-20. However it has been soooooo long since my last grow, I can't remember what it looks like when ready.
Right now, my buds are a little bigger than whats posted and there are crystals all over the tops. The hairs are almost all red.
I do not want to go buy a magnifine glass or telescope... Give me a hand someone.......

When I got the seed from a buddy of mine whom had said it was jack herer.
I planted it in December right next to a freshly planted orange tree.
That seed produced the momma, which is the bush you see in the pics.

In April, the plant produced a few seeds, which I planted and came up with the other two plants in the pics.
One plant grew to a "stub" then up came a bud at the top. the plant is about 9" tall, if that. Very little crystals but one huge bud.

The other plant sprouted nicely and as you can see produced some nice buds, which quickly turned red. Much crystals throughout all of the buds.

The momma has produced huge buds along with much crystals throughout.
The hairs on the momma arent as red as the one mentioned above, YET. I am sure they will be by the first of next week.

I dont think it is jack, however it smells awefully good and the buds are sticky. The momma has a orange smell mixed with the nice aroma of a killer weed.

If all agree, I want to harvest the one I call "red headed mistress" this weekend.
The others, I plan on harvesting Oct. 5.
Let me know what you people think.... Should I or shouldn't I?
If I can get a better camera, I will post new pics.
The ones posted here were taken 9-20. JBIRD

i'll have to post some pics too, i am questioning if I can harvest yet, i feel the buds are a little too thin but the hairs look decent, im waiting for a little more development as my strain was supposed to be blueberry, i'll have to try and get some good closeup pics for you guys to give me advice.

Is this good enough yet? I'd say it's still a slight thin judging from the tip of the bud, is this ready or should i wait a week or 2?

The pistils are roughly 50% changed I'd say but maybe a lil less. I was even thinking of clipping the cola and seeing if the remaining branches completed. Is this feasible, or a bad idea? The colas obviously thicker than the rest so i'm really contemplating this but can be patient if you guys advise me.
The cola pic may be distorted due to the HPS or something so maybe i'll try snapping a pic right after turning the light off.

Cool, that's what I was thinking. Though some of the hairs are changing, the top of the bud is far too thin and i'd like the hairs to change more color, i'll wait and see how this progresses over the weekend.

Thanks again bro, I have another question.

Has anyone got seeds from DoggiesNuts? Some brand off sensibleseeds, supposed to be a feminized blueberry strain, I hope it is cause the damn picture looked good that made me buy it!

A plant of indica stature, the genetics are 80% indica, 20% sativa. The buds grow large, dense and become covered with blueberry scented resin. Resin crystals start to form at around 3 weeks into flowering to produce one of the finest tasting bud available.
I'm doubtful mine will look like this but hopefully it will resemble it a little more, I am satisfied with the crystals thus far though, all in all a success for a first time.
