Just about ready to get back underway. Again running a 16 site Nutrifield Pro Pot 27 system, top fed recirculating from a 200 litre res. Again I'll run the full Canna Aqua range, Aqua Vega, Aqua Flores along with Cannazym, Rhizotonic, Pk 13/14 & the very very expensive ($670NZD per 5 litre!!!) Cannaboost through, you guessed it Canna Aqua clay balls.

I flushed my system & hydroton over 3 or 4 days with H2o2 then rinsed & drained. I refilled the 200 litre res with plain water & let it cycle through for a day or 2 untill the ph stays stable at around 5.7. Then Ive added my nutes (Aqua Vega a+b, Cannazym, Rhizotonic) & cycled it for a few hours to make sure the ph stays stable.

Over a month ago now in a platinum clone dome I rooted 20 clones cut from a mother plant that is a seed given to me as either Silver Pearl or Super Silver Haze I guess I'll find out during the stretch stage. Fingers crossed for Silver Pearl.
After they rooted I modified the cloner & have had them sitting in hiatus under fluorescents while I get my get my shit together & hope for the days to cool off a bit which isn't happening yet. But the time has come to pull them out of the cloner as the roots are getting pretty tangled.

Hi bud,so have you thought about feeding up from the bottom,flood n drain,i use the same system(im in the 15,s)and also from n.z and it works really well,full soak and better air suction/saturation to the medium and the roots when it drains,no lines to top of the pots either just in threw the drain line and out threw it to.

Hows it mate. Nope I never had thought of that. Its not a bad idea at all! How many pots are you running, & how big is your res?
 
ive moved so running tents atm and in coco dtw,renting sucks man,but when i run i do 12pots,15L ,650de hps per 6[pots and 2 50l res,s feeding them(50L per 6 pots) or was going to try one 100L or 150L res with 2 pumps in it running at different times,i feed once an hour so could prob do 3 pumps
 
you need to run a line up from the pump at the main line tee up and run a line to ur fill line and tee that back down into the res,also before u tee back down have a tee at top with say 100ml tube on it to help with flow,il set one up and show u some pics,ph broken atm so in afew weeks
 
I did used to run a couple tees with 150ml of up hose in the return line between the last row of plants & next row in front of them to try help with return flow. It stopped the bubbles gurgling at the res so I I guess it would've eased a little back pressure. I cant remember why I took them out. I think I may have needed the tee pieces on another idea
 
Coming up on 5 days after switching, had a little stretch & a bit of a tie down. Not stretching like I'd imagined SSH would have. Although I am hoping for Silver Pearl I start getting a bit concerned that if they are SP maybe I should've veged for a bit longer. Throwing out more white hairs than there should be for only 5 days deep suggests to me that bud onset is happening quicker than anticipated. Either way they are looking nice, happy & healthy!

something like this,i just whipped this up but you get the idea,there is other ways to do it to but this way keeps its all at the res with one line out,get your fill height perfect and it will never overflow but if its off abit it will at the pots,just under the handle line is the go
Give it a try man,you will like it,use a seconds timer for this also
 
seconds ,u can make it quicker with bigger pumps but there done and draining by 3 or so mins on a smaller one,
i will be doing a run after this one using it so i,l do a little journal and you can check it out

I'm glad I'm not the only one who vegges with HPS! How long have you been doing it? Your plants look great for the short veg time. I assure you, your plants would have been more longer/lanky and not as nice looking if you were using MH. I veg with 1000 watt single ended HPS w/ electronic ballast all day long. The plants veg faster, more bushier and when I flip 'em into bud, they don't stretch much at all. Good stuff, dude, I'll be watching!
 
Ive only ever vegd with hps. The only thing i use MH for is my mother plant & getting clones rooted, i have them under 250mh then chuck them straight under the 600s I wont veg them for long. Maybe 2 weeks if that
