Possible Under or Overwatering?

These guys are 9 days old (don't mind the basil), and I'm getting worried about the watering situation. In the middle, there are 2 seedlings that have droopy-like leaves, while all others seem to be pretty happy. I water once soil is bone dry to my first knuckle (every 2-3 days). They are in an 18/6 light cycle under a 35w full spectrum LED, 50%-70% humidity, 65ºF-75ºF. Once I transplant to 3 gal, I will add more medium higher up the stems.

Also, off-topic, some serrated leaves have curled up tips on other seedlings in the picture as well. Possible heat intensity, humidity, or root overwatering?

I don't want to stress them out (they are autoflower). If any experienced grower could help out, much appreciated! Thanks.

Looks like you are watering the center only. Soak the entire pot and don’t give any water again until the pot feels light. Measuring the weight of the pot is a much better judge of dryness and using your finger.

The curled serrated edges could be from heat or light intensity. Without any other info I’d take a random guess and say too much light.

What are the grow area temperatures and light details? Brand, wattage, distance from plants, etc.

Temperatures in grow area are 65ºF at the moment. Light is GT-Lite 4-panel 35w LED. Light is 2 inches from canopy. Humidity is 70% right now. I usually have a heater to get the temps up to around 75ºF, but I'm concerned they have too much heat, although, it could be light.

Also, what do you mean by soak? Until runoff or until soil is all 'moist' enough?

65F I would almost consider frigid for cannabis. At 70%RH I would be aiming for about 80F.

I’m not familiar with that light but you probably don’t want it 2 inches away. That type of canopy distance is usually best for T5 lighting not LEDs.

By soak, I mean thoroughly water the entire pot. Make sure every bit of the soil is wet, whether it takes a little runoff or not.

I watered the entire plant thoroughly and now the leaves are drooping. I'm assuming I've overwatered, or they're stressed, unfortunately. I will wait for them to completely dry, then use less water.

Edit: I have them sitting at 50% RH and 75ºF.

They’ll come back in a day or so but thats the correct way to water. Then wait til the pot is light to water again, maybe a full week. Roots need air as much as water to stay healthy. 65F is low but they’ll still grow, just a little slower.

i agree, i allways make sure the entire amount of soil is wet and then wait till its light weight ehen water again.
whats that your growing in??

I have it set to a stable 70ºF, and I'm drilling out holes in the bottom of my pots for better drainage.

I'm currently started in Miracle Gro potting mix then going to transplant to Ocean Forest

yikes, mg not the best soil to grow in in my opinion, but they seem to be doing allright, well most of them anyway

im not familier with those soils much to offer that much helpfull info. i grow in dirt from my compost heap, peat free potting soil and mole hills/mounds that i find every morning., chicken soil, thats from the bottom of our chicken coup, its the last lot too as a fox just ate our last 2 chickens. then i add dry amendments

Possible Under or Overwatering?
