I always have the threat of going to jail for a long time just by growing unfortunately so that is nothing new. I made the thread obviously to get opinions about if blasting outside on a balcony can be done relatively safely. I was already pretty sure it would not be dangerous but I wanted to make sure I didn't fail to think of something or anything like that. No one really said anything that isn't common sense, most of the thread ended up being about blasting indoors. I felt comfortable giving it a try, it was a windy day, and there was no nearby ignition source so fuck it... I asked for your opinion, but I'm not obligated to follow your advice. In the end I will gauge what you say and make my own decisions because only I can really know situation. I'm confident I did not endanger anyone's well being, if I thought there was a small chance of blowing shit up I would not have attempted it, I can assure you that. I'm also pretty sure you don't want to get into a battle of who can make the wittiest shit talking reply with me, and I don't want to shit up the thread anyway.

What do you think is more risky, rapid evaporation of butane with a high concentration in the air for a short time or slow evaporation with a low concentration, but for a longer time?

Apples to oranges.

Are you really going to compare driving a fully regulated vehicle to openly exhausting 20,000+ BTUs of butane (per can)?

For the record, driving a car is relatively low risk. Only about 1/100 of 1% of the cars on the road in the US will result in a fatality each year. I wish we could say the same for BHO manufacturers. Again, apples to oranges.

I don't understand why you made the thread if you are gonna blast away anyway when the majority of people are saying not to. The risk factor is huge, and not just your safety. You can go to jail for a long time if you cause harm to others. It's kinda a game ending accident when something goes wrong.
the issue is possible harm done through possible neglegence

and cars kill more people then any one stat every year it is 100% relevant, and people have to have a test written and drivers to be OKed to drive and have insurance

if making BHO was looked at in a mature light it would have similar regulations
