Possible to polinate one a branch?

I have this beautiful purple white widow plant that showed its sex and is a male.


I would love to cross this plant with my mango, which is female. However i dont want an entire yield full of seeds.


I think i remember reading that FDD pollinated only a branch of two and that the entire plant did NOT get pollinated.

Is this possible? How risky is it? Should i not cross my PWW with my Mango? Why/Why not?
