alright, firstly i know that some of the bigger plants are showing overwatering. the issue i am concerned about are the little small ones. they are roughly 3 weeks old and the leaves apppear to be curling/twisting. they have not recieved any nutes yet. the leaves also appear to be to light in color. this is why i think it is a nitrogen deficiency. the lower set of leaves are starting to lose their chlorophyll. im not to good at diagnosing nute problems but am i right?? i watered 3 of the 7 smaller ones with a 1/4 tsp per gallon mix of General Hydroponics (Micro, Gro, Bloom). hopefully this helps. if someone helps me solve this problem they will def recieve rep.

Hmm def take it easy on the watering. Well it looks like a deficiancy of something. Hopefully it will work. If not try some epson salt in your next water thats helped me before on plant that began to yellow like this. Also how close is your light and what are you using.

The leaf curl is too much heat, and too much airflow (lack of humidity), but you should start giving them veg nutes, and that should help with the yellowing.

soil is organic. i have General Hydroponics (Micro, Gro, Bloom) nutrients. i water every 4-5 days give or take when need be. the reasons the bigger ones are overwatered is because my soil is not draining good enough. they always look like that for about a day max. the bigger plant in the back of the first pic was watered roughly one day before the other 3 bigger ones and you can see the leaves are almost back to normal. after they are normal looking again they are like that up until i water agian and the cycle repeats. they have also been given some nutes. i give them a nute mix after every 3-4 waterings. started at under 1/4 tsp per gallon each micro, grow, bloom mix and after 2 times i increased to roughly 1tsp each (mgb). they def love the nutes every since i started i have seen improvements. like i said in the first post none of the smaller ones have had any nutes at all. and i gave a mix of under 1/4 tsp mgb to the three small ones in the round pots. hopefully it helps. im running 7 42 watt cfl's in their. they are approximately 6 inches from light, yes i know its to far but i want them to stretch for cloning eventually. i am currently growing in the right hand side of my box only in the picture. i switched out all those 2700ks to 5 6500k's with 2 2700k's, all at 42 watts each. my temps max out at around 83. my humidity as you can see is 53% and temp is 77 degrees (took this pic at same time as first post). as you can see in the last picture the lower leaves on the back plant are turning a whitish, loosing chlorophyll, but they are soft. wtf??? havent tried the epsom salt yet. should i add that to the water or spray that on the leaves, i believe i read somewhere to spray it on the leaves. not sure tho, just burned a bowl. haha. thanks for your help by the way!

Im starting to think your soil isnt a good choice.
It looks like it has alot of trouble draining like you said which could cause alot of what your seeing.

ya i agree man. do you think that the soil could be causing the small plants to look the way they look?

ya the ph is 6.8 even bottom. they have had no nutes yet. the runoff when i water is pretty clear. i did see a small increase in appearance after i gave 3 of them a 1/4 tsp mix of mgb. the seedlings and cuttings mix on the bottle. it was just slighty greener and stood up a little better. should i give a couple of them a little stronger mix than that and see what happens?

thats ur prob....its been 3 weeks and u havent fed them anything...start introducing a low ppm of nutes at 2 weeks of growth or when the cotyledons fall off

the cotyledons are almost dead but havent fell off yet. even with a very gentle tug. but def will try some nutes.

that dont matter....they r almost dead,no? i didnt mean literally fall off,i guess i should have worded it diff
2 weeks is a good rule to go by

I had this same exact issue about 3-4 weeks ago (my girls, hopefully, are 7 weeks old now). I was also in high temps 80-90F, low-drainage soil and possibly overwatering. They looked exactly like yours (sorry, no pics).

What got mine back on track was moving them to an air conditioned space (the bedroom in this case) where they remained at 73F, 24/7. Secondly, I moved the light-source (CFL) back to 2-3 feet from 2-3 inches and stopped watering for 10 days.

After about 5 days the leaves perked back up, plants started new growth and pigments went back to green from yellow.

Good luck man!

i gave my plants the seedling and cutting fert mix today and they have gained some color but still look sick. the lights are approximately a foot away. temps reach 82 max now. i took out some of the 42 watt lights to reduce heat. so far not much improvement.

Where is it getting to 82 at? Watch the soil temps too. Your plants already look better in the second photos. The leafs that have discoloration might not come back, keep a eye on the new growth,....Good luck JR
