Possible new Cali grower with a few questions...

Hey guys,

So I have a few questions that I am hoping to get answered. I have been looking through the forum but have not been able to find much on them...

1. What is the legal limit plant wise in California for a grow? I have heard it is 12 mature plants per person (which makes it 36 plants total if you have 3 people operating at the same location) but I am not sure if this is true. I have also heard the number 99 plants passed around a lot, but I heard something along the lines of that being legal only with a growers permit?

2. Seeing that the growth/harvesting of Marijuana is legal in the State of California, but not legal federally, do I stand the chance of jail time if say the DEA knocks down my door even if I have a growers license/Medical permit?

3. As far as transporting product to a dispensary, is there a "legal" way to do this? Or is it more so do not get caught?

Thank you for the help all!

I'll be the first to say it's good to have dreams.

I hear they are plucking gold right out of the ground.

Really, all your questions would be answered with a quick look at google.

I noticed you have the same thread in the washington mmj section too. Are you throwing darts at a map to decide where your exciting new career in marijuana cultivation will begin? :)

Or a quick search of the forum.

Come out, move to Oakland where it's cheap. Grow a bunch under CFL's then go sell it to Harbourside. Ask for "Braids", and tell em Subcool sent ya!

Translation: "Hey guys, I'm too lazy to look up the laws in my state: please be my legal advisory."

I all seriousness, please research your local laws and do what you can to comply. Asking other people is like betting your future on any other sort of hearsay.
