Possible First indoor Grow, Help with Growbox

Hi. I have a little experience growing already. I have had two successful outdoor grows to my name, both from bagseed. I've been doing a lot of thinking lately about starting an indoor CFL setup. My first obstacle is deciding on a grow box, as i have no closets in my house. I do have a little 5'x5' tent that I could line with foil on the inside and make the outside lightproof, however, will this be big enough? What are common dimensions for a grow box that can hold 5-8 plants? obviously, when you factor in the fact that some will be males, flowering will probably have 2-5 plants. What kind of dimensions do i need for a grow like this?? All help will be greatly apreciated.

i have never done anything outdoor just my first closet grow i am doing atm

but i would start by thinking what kinda plants you want?
i mean if you want different kinds(indica,sativas,hybrids) your box will end up being taller cause the light has to be adjusted
and having multiple plants = more lights
i preffer indicas because they are short and easy to have indoor (and out of sight in my case)
and you can get femenized seeds which turn out mostly right
or will you be using some bag seeds?

just an idea i don't have much experience with building boxes and such but hope it helps!
you can always try buying a 2nd hand cabinet or a dresser(or some form of box that works) ofcourse depending on how big your plants gonna get/space

and you need to focus on getting what you want!

Stranger: I grow my legal limit of 6 in a 2' by 4' by 6 1/2' tent so a 5' by 5' should work, though I bet it'll be tight. Your tent doesn't have a reflective interior? I've never seen one like that. HSA

HSA: It's not a tent designed for growing. maybe the material is reflective, idk.

PEE2: I was thinking of using bagseed for the first grow, as i am broke as hell. If I had money I would probably opt for non-feminised auto-flowers with a lean towards the indica side, that way i could seperate the males and females when they pre-flower and then pollinate a few of the popcorn nugs the last couple weeks of flowering to get more seeds for free. Although, i wouldn't mind a full female grow . Idk, cuz the auto-flowering strains are generally pretty inexpensive, and since most of my harvest went down the tube when my frienemy stole a bunch of my buds, it would be nice to have something that'd finish a little quicker. I'll keep ya'll posted, and i think i found a dresser that i can hollow out and line it with reflective insulation and still have about 3' for the plants to grow. Also i am trying to decide on lighting, i have a couple fluorescent bar lights, about 2' a piece so i was thinking about installing those on the ceiling of the cabinet, and then buying some good CFL's to put right up close to the plants. like some big CFL's, the hundred watters is what im thinking.
