If I have a possession charge from 10 years ago, will I still be able to get my medical marijauana card in Michigan?

I was under the impression you could get your card no matter what if you have the right medical condition, unless you have a felony.

Does anyone here know for sure?

simple poss ..........medical card no worries ........the medical card is 100% a right of any person with a medical need and the proper paperwork done
what u are thinking about is the medical card and working in the biz .........anyone with a felony or distribution charges can not work in this (federal rules)

i have 4 weed charges 18 20 22 35 (ages i am 35 now) ........i can get weed card once i move to a legal area and live there for 30 days then file the paperwork
they have sites on the web that will get u doctor apointment ........http://www.michiganmedicalcardclinics.com/

Only felony drug convictions put a rock in the path, and even then, more for caregiver than patients.... I had a paraph. charge too, no one questions it... find a cannabis doc, you are good to go.
