Yes you may obtain a patient card regardless of charge. Caregiver card would depend on your charge.

So do you know if i can be a caregiver if i have a possesion of marijuana charge on my record? Or would I need to get that expunged?

As far as I know only felonies can limit you becoming a caregiver.

I have had 2 possession charges and still was able to be a caregiver.

wondering if you can get a felony expunged and then qualify for a care giver.

i got into some trouble when I was kid. My lawyer said he got it taken off my record but its still there. Watch out for slimy lawyers that don't do what they say they're going to do.

Honestly its not that compilcated to do on your own,feel out the paper work to a T,mail a copy of paper work to judge that sentenced you or one that is prosiding over your case,the prosecuting attorney of your case,and victim (if there is one).Submit paper work to the court you were sentenced in,wait a month or two ,if they dont reject it,you will have to go see the judge and explain why it should be expunged,why you wouldnt be a danger to society anymore,etc.If all goes well it can take 2-4 months befor your charge is wiped clean and taken off state,local,different sites.
