I don't mind the seeds, I kind of like how they feel on the teeth. (As long as I've got flossers/picks handy)
I find them to be quite bitter in contrast to the berries themselves. Not bad though if you make a nice lattice pastry pie with them, the seeds just seem to disappear :)
I have a white mulberry tree I absolutely adore every spring :) (as it shits on my neighbors lawn).
Nice! Are they anything like muscadines?

I prefer the red mulberries but the whites are still very good. I don't think they taste at all like Muscadines, a very mild, sweet berry although not cloyingly sweet.

ah yes, so not the ever so sweet I'm used to? That would probably be better for my diabetes, but since its been around a 4.7 a1c they said I'm pretty much good on that so long as I make good choices most of the time. I know I've gotta have my sweet tea every day so thank god for small favors! :)
What about mangosteens? I keep a bowl around as a 'natural freshener'....they make the place smell tropical...
