Are these effective for hot rooms?

My room currently goes as high as 97 degrees( 1000watt and a 600watt) and I was wondering if these units work and dont hurt my plants.

I cant buy the window units, due to security.

I already am going to switch the lighting period from day to night to hopefully shave off a few degrees but I am willing to shell out another couple hundo to make sure it stays below 90.

They certainly help, but they exhaust very hot air so you need to vent it out a window, also there is a lot of water from the condensation outlet, up to 2 gallons a day so you will need to empty the container daily.:joint:
