If using portable ac best to have dual hose otherwise it pulls air from the room (weed smell) and cools some and exhausts the rest out the single hose which in flower will be a big problem

Do you mean smell wise is the main problem? I got scrubber and then will run a ozone machine I am going to run the scrubbed exaust thru to a out side vent in the roof

Man I hate those things. They oxidize all sorts of rubber and plastic making it crumbly. They also make metal oxidize faster. Not to mention hard on you and the plants.

I have used an inline ozone generator on a 12 inch exhaust line, still have it although that system isn't in use anymore. Of course I had to use galvanized duct, no plastic, also used duct mastic to seal all the joints / seams.

If you dont have a filter on the end of the ac then your scrubber wont be enough it will still pull air from inside the room. But put a filter in there then exhaust you will be good.

I'd advise against using a portable personally. I'm running a 14k btu dual hose now and it's been nothing but a headache, and 1 side outside of my house smells pretty dank. Regardless of hose count they still pull air from any hole in the unit and toss it out the window. Very inefficient.

Id pick up a window unit personally. If you cant put it in a window, box it up and throw a fan on it, if you can operate a drill and saw you can build a box. This is what I'm doing tomorrow. Power consumption alone will make the window unit pay for itself over the summer.
