Poppy Growing

so i planted them they germed then all but two out of like 400 seeds died will someone put out a step by step tutorial in poppy growing or post any knowledge, tips, tricks

Weird. Poppies are easy to grow. What kind of media were they in? Poppies don't do well in good soil. They like poor drainage and low nutrition.

main reasons for poppy deaths are heat and wetness, only give them a few drops of water when they look wilted.

Stem rot kills them, as ANC says, only a little water till they get to a decent size - or you can simply broadcast the seeds in fall or winter and wait.
