Popped Balls

If a plant "pops balls" what does that mean?

It means that it's showing that it's a male.

I was reading where a certain strain "popped balls" in its second half of flower. How can it be male if its already in flower? I don't know much since I only have one grow so far.

All plants can herm, new growers see it more, do twenty grows you probably wont see it if ever.

Tweezer of 'ACCURATELY' identified pollen sacs and nanas and carry on as normal. You might get some seed but be in a whole load of bud and nature is such you just need to accept it and do twenty more grows mainly.

Some strains will treat you better and just because they suit your grow or level and some will be a lot more bothersome. Genetically there is no herm free strain or will there ever be soon.

I grew all my herms out and gained experience bud and free femmed seed. About those times i also got a lot of whorlled ohylotaxy which again is a hormonal response to stress.

Peeps say balls but some mistake plump round calyxs fir male pollen sacs which is wrong. Some feel like pollen is the devil come to rape your virgin daughters - its just a bit of pollen dont blow fans at plants and it wont spread much. Enjoy uour first few grows - nature will be imperfect for you at times
