Poor ventalation and Stretch

Hello Just a quick one. I was wondering if lack of dirt air removeal will cause stretch? I have a few plants about 6" tall under a 1000w mh about 8 -9" above the plant on a mover running across the room. But like 2 or 3 of my plants are stretching. and its only these couple. Could i not be getting enought of the dirty air out of the room??

Nothing to do with the air - it's how far away the light is. Also, just like us, you get individuals as plants, as well - some will just stretch more than others. For instance - I have five Lemon Skunk in veg right now. Under CFL's, so the light is always close (a couple of inches). But I have one medium height, super bushy plant, two tall semi-bushy plants, and two short semi-bushy plants - all female.

DoeEyed is right. if possible, you should move your light closer.

Im having the same stretching issues in my garden.(I anticipated it tho.) i've got a Himalayan Gold trying to reach too high. I'm starting mine under a 430 Son Agro HPS. I wasn't able, until recently, to move my light close as I would've surely burnt them.

all came from clone. Light is as close as i can get them without burning my plants. hmmmm

In that case, I'd just buy some stakes to help em' stand up straight, and put a fan on em'.

Some strains just grow fast. I've heard it said that 'Trainwreck' is named for its ability to make your growroom look like a damn trainwreck.

Help em' stand up. They'll hopefully strengthen up 4 ya'.

yea those high watt lights are nice but when starting seedlings and cuttings its nice to have a cool light i.e: fluorescent or cfl that you can shove right down on the girls!! dont you know girls like to cuddle!!??
