Alright so Im at home depot for something completely unrelated and I remember last second that I wanted to pick up some pool shock as I heard its part of a DIY clean rez recipe. Thing is when I get home I look up the recipe and Im not positive I picked out the right pool shock, so I wanted to check with RIU before I toss it in. The kind I have is called Pool Time shock plus 4-in-1 pool shock, says its not gonna raise my pH and that the active ingredient is Sodium dichlora-s-triazinetrione 58.2% and other Ing 41.8% I thought it was supposed to have calcium in it? and 41% OTHER SHIT? Im a little wary to throw this in. Also if it turns out to be the right one tespoon/ a gallon diluted sound bout right??? Shit I need help....-S0uP
Edit. This is for preventative maintenance BTW my rez Is looking healthy as well as my roots but my temps stay from 69-72 and I wanna keep it as sterile as I can before there is a problem so I thought pool shock at a low dose a good option. If there are horror stories out there I wanna know...
