pollinating my garden on purpose +rep

balls came out this morning. its my kushberry and that is upsetting. BUT

I am thinking of letting it go and pollinated evrything, the sleestack, kandy kush and og18 and seeing what happens.

I would like many mroe seeds to get ready fore summer outside so this may be the answer.

what cha think??
+rep for quality

You should do it up. They should give a couple hundred seeds if you do it right. You should put a fan behind the male so he blows his pollen on the forth week. You might find a good strain in the process.

If you can... I would separate it from your others despite the fact that you want to pollinate them all, if you seperate it you can collect the pollen and then only pollinate selectively the small buds that would normally not become much that way you don't loose to much yield. another option is to freeze the pollen this will keep it viable for years this way you can use it to back cross and stabilize the strains you created from the other crosses to get exactly what you want. many good strains can be created from just two sets of genetics.

Lets say beans average $50 for 10.... 200 seeds is about a grand... looks like 3 fat ladies could solve your seed prob... especially if you got some full mason jars in reserve.....

Great idea to seed the smaller buds and keep a good yield. If i like the seeds from the F2 than I could in fact keep pollinating wiht the same kushberry for many years :-)

the price of $5 bucks a bean is not unreasonable.... check some of the bulk packs from some of the growers...and I am not talking ditch weed... also wanted the comparison to seem reasonable.... lets say the beans are 12.50 a bean... all of a sudden your 3 ladies are cranking out $2500 in beans and I doubt that you are scoring that much weight off of 3.... therefore the math makes sense... peace and love

I laugh when i hear people say things like "Why would you do something like that?"

while I think to myself: "To keep good marijuana growing..."

seems logical to me... screw the rep send me some beans ;) lol jk :P

Have at it!! If you do leave it in there, the only concern will be you have to clean the walls fairly well before your next grow or you could have stealth pollen hiding on the walls or lights and screw up the next grow on accident.

Good Luck!! :weed:

Real good point, pollen is nearly invisible and you don't want that shit in your growroom forever. fdd has a good thread on seed production. I'm following his instructions right now. You need about six generations (f6) to get a truly stable phenotype. That'll take me about two years but I gotta start sometime if I want my own strain.
