Pollinating female

Hi. Check out my girl. Her buds are getting bigger but not fatter and she has this strange powder all over her leaves :)

Seriously now, that's the Satori I want to use to do some selective pollination - I have a Satori female (want to continue the genetics) and a Chronics Revenge (white widow x indica) and MP5K (AK x Afghani) , the latter 2 I want to see what I get for crosses. I only want to hit a few lower branches, so I'm going to remove the females from the growing room and hit them with a little pollen and then give them a good foliar spray before returning them to the flower room. A few quick questions:

1. Is the pollen that's already dropped still good (just started later today).
2. How long will the pollen remain viable - before being collected, I have a film cannister and desicant for after I collect.
3. How long should I wait after hitting the girls with pollen before spraying them down to return them to the flower room?

I'd like the pollination to work, but I want to minimize the chances of random pollen floating around - don't want to hit one bud and end up with an entire plant seeded. There's no air moving around where the male is, but I have fans going when I get back to the flower room......Have to remember to tell my girlfriend not to be checking the male out and then going to check the females. Thanks

I have no idea how long pollen is viable after dropping.

I wouldn't spray them at all.

You can take a q-tip, collect some pollen on it and rub it on the female flowers.

A 1=pollen usaully stays viable for up to a year if it is stored correctly:!:-(cool dark and dry)after it has fallen from the plant it usually has a life expectancy that is dependant on its surrounding/enviroment...usually 1-10 days(dry air keeps pollen viable for ages),but if its humid.....u get my point..

A 2=ive done this to mine and i left them for two days along with the male, then sorted them back into the flowering room. just to make sure everything had set properly...it all depends on urself mate...but whatever u do....enjoy the experience;-)

Thanks. Some of what I read said to wait 4 to 5 days to make sure it took. I'm not sure I wanted to wait that long - there's light in the other room, but it isn't sealed for leaks (incoming sunlight) and I didn't want to mess up their light schedule too much. I have those small hobby paint brushes I'll dip in the pollen and tap to get the pollen to fall on the budsites (with maybe a slight breath to get it to fall toward the pistils).
