I haven't pollinated a plant in years.
I decided to change that .
I have a small grow usually 2 plants each grow. This year I broke out a grow box I picked up from a friend . I started my grow with 2 fem seeds after they popped I started 2 regular seeds that I had purchased different strain though. Out of those 2 seeds 1 popped and luckily it was a male. I used the grow box to keep the male in . The 2 fems were in my regular box which is an outdoor patio storage building 2'x4' which I've been using for a while now. When the male produced it's pollen sacks I then collected all the pollen I could in a plastic zip lock bag. After that I removed the male plant from the grow box and destroyed the plant. I then took one of my females and put in the grow box . There wasn't enough room in the box for both plants at the same time so I had to collect the pollen and manually pollinate the female . I left the pollinated female in the grow box under a LED for 7 days on the 6th day I misted the pollinated plant with water to wash away any pollen that may contaminate my other female in the other grow area. On the 7th day I returned the pollinated female to my regular grow area . Hopefully I'll be able to collect seeds from my endeavor and more importantly I hope that my method will keep the other female from becoming contaminated with pollen from the pollinated plant. I did find some helpful information on this site in regards to the method I used.
