pollen collection help

is there any definite way to tell whether or not the pollen being dropped is mature?

and once i pollinate the female, how long till the seeds mature?

I would keep the male's has far from the females has possible.Once the male plant starts to show it's time to shed it's pollen then get a large sealer bag and tap the dust from the male sack's into the bag.This can then be frozen and kept for some time i not sure how long but a good few month if not years.But if the strain is a plant that you realy like just clone it and take a extra female and let the male pollenate it.This will give you ample seeds for grow's to come.

Thats easy, if the sacks open, it ain't shootin blanks

and you can visually see then the seeds ripen as they are literally busting out of their pods. I have had more than one case when a seed dropped, I didnt notice it and bang, it sprouted right there with mom but usually 3-6 weeks.
