Must be heck to heat up a cup of coffee. Unless you keep the cookstove going all day. We used to do that in the 50's but no more. Outhouse, no thanks. I heat with wood mostly. Unless it's above 30 or so. Then you have to open the windows. I let the heat pump do it's thing. I cut a dozen 2' walnut trees last fall. To many. They grow like weeds around here. And draw squirrels. I haven't eaten squirrel since the 60's.
