POLL: How long do you like to cure your personal smoke?

I'm new to curing and hoping for some input from the pros. So far I seem to prefer my herb freshly dried, all the terpenes are still intact and I'm a happy camper. Anyone care to share their preference?

I like it all the way from scissor hash to 1 year old jar cured.

When the distinctive smell of the strain starts to pop then I call it ready

Strain dependent for me. My SSh or strawberry amnesia is very good tasting before cured. Bog LSD not so much. Slh not bad fresh.

It cures until it is all gone.... Range 2 weeks - 3 months.

Yeah, all over the place for me. Love me some fresh cut bud and finger hash too, cured 3-4 weeks seems to be the sweet spot for me as far as smoothness and burn properties.

I will cure mine for about 8 weeks then I Vacuum pack my jars for long term storage

oh.. dont do that


after 3 months the flavors have usually grown up completely and the bud is perferctly broken down

of course half the time i start selli.g after a few weeks

Scissor hash and rosin are my favorite thing to smoke. Bubble hash is bland and is missing something.

Grow enough and it'll get better as you smoke it down

I agree scissor hash does have an extra little flavor to it. Rosin is cool but my straight iron vapes off more than I get. Probably need a new one or stop bull sheeting and get a T-shirt press.

I water cure for 4 days, see it as an eastern thing

that week is easily equal to 1-2 month air cure

Long term storage around here is a couple months..
