actually i thought the half bath would be perfect because it is surrounded CENTER by all of my own space in order to control heat and smell plus i can move the hall tree in front of the bath door and no one would be the wiser. you can't even tell there is anything there.

EDIT: i go to school and only have so much for rent.

nice if you don't have a lot of visitors. I guess everyone will use your bathroom.

Cool tubes hun, just vent through them. 70% of the heat gone, if its sealed up correctly there won't be any smell either.

my phresh filter and fan will take care of negative and regular fans for positive..i just need a supply of cold air..i don't want to sit with the door open all day.

lol i get different answers from everyone.

Negative pressure is where, nothing goes out of the room. Air only moves in by the suction created by the exhaust fans.

That way the smell stays in the room and does not permeate the entire building.

I run my room with neg pressure, unless I am at that tween time where I'm not running the House AC.

Then I use that fan I talked about to push cool air in....positive pressure.

But, the carbon can is sucking stink air from right by the plants.....negative pressure.

Negative Pressure....pig stink out thru exhaust fans

nothing from the windows, so window unit is out.

i think harrekin is right, the tent is gonna be the way to go here. all self contained with no need to modify the rental unit.

no drama also has the right idea to get rid of the hot air from the light, you can air cool the light without a carbon filter.

then you just need to create negative pressure to extract whatever hot stinky air is left in the tent.

mini splits and replacing doors is just overthinking it. trust in tent.

Tent would be fine but she already said no to tent. However, tent would have much less grow space than the bathroom and hence back to not growing any serious weight...
