No, last year I put out some stragglers, ones that weren't doing too hot in my garden, the runts. No planning and they did pretty damn good. This year I did a little more planning and put out choice clones and all 8 week strains to finish in time.

The heat is killing me, 102 yesterday, a record and over 100 today, another record and expected 99 tomorrow. Too damn hot !

I'm excited to see how these babies finish up.
well i would definatly say that those are nice sized if they were like 6 feet tall i would actually put them in the pound range, but pics can b decieving. now that i look at them again i would say you probly got a bunch of 1/2 pound bushes there. but brother i got to say they all look great keep up the good work and everything will be fine!!!!!

So I finally took Kid Twist's (friend from another Skunk Skool) advice and decided to stake up the plants. Had a few bigger branches break and one plant that looked like it might split right down the middle, so something had to be done for them.

Once I started staking them I could also see what Twist was saying about trimming the middles and bottoms. I got the big branches I knew I wanted to keep staked and then started trimming all the small stuff away. I noticed, especially on the Goddess plants, that many had branches that were only being supported by the ground.

Quite a pile of branches and leaves when all was said and done.

Will probably get a little more trimming done next week, see how they respond and see which branches show themselves to be 'keepers' :weed:

and I am just finding your grow.....
Right on brother, glad you're here. We are buddy's from Skunk Skool

subd. your neighbors are RIGHT there.. no smell or anything?
I'm a caregiver in Colorado and the neighbor on that East fence is a patient. He actually trimmed his tree to let direct light get to them a little earlier in the day. :bigjoint: I have two other neighbors I share a fence with. My neighbor to the West, I've spoken with and he's cool with it. (A guy was trying to get people to call the police on his barking dog one day, (I didn't, I have a dog of my own) I left him a note about it and we've been buddys ever since) Neighbor around the corner of the house to the south, she would never see or smell them. But I also talked to her before planting. She came over and gave me 6 tomato plants and checks on them from time to time, I think she's amazed by the ganja plants and my giant pumpkins.

My only worry is the rippers.

Damn thats a big pile of trim. hopefully u see some major bursts of growth on the tops of the plants. wich im sure you will.
Yeah, it felt real weird cutting that much off the plants for sure. Man I honestly hope they just start budding and filling in. Any more height and I might have to do something about it. There is a pretty busy street to my North. Hard to explain but the layout makes it impossible to see the plants, unless they get taller than the stakes, which I think I'm going to paint green or maybe black, just in case.

Next year, it's a green house for sure :hump:

Thanks guys for checking out the grow, I appreciate it :joint:

nice plants...im ready for new pics anytime. +rep
Right on brother I appreciate that and I WILL keep the pictures coming, Especially when we get deep into the budding !

well sheeet. right on then. yep, just gotta watch the 2-legged critters now :/
Exactly. Went back and looked at the pics and took a walk around the block. Can't see the stakes (still gonna paint them though) and there is no fucking way the plants are going to out grow the stakes.......right?

So I think I will rotate the updates by strain. Today is the Mangos, there are three of them. They are looking real good, and strong. The chopping yesterday doesn't seem to have slowed them down at all and I think the staking is helping too. If not them, my peace of mind as we had a good windstorm yesterday and nothing broke.

Here's an update on the outdoor garden. Today's featured plant is my Goddess cross. It's (Purple Head Knocker x AK-47), with the PHK being (Arcata cut Trainwreck x Durban Poison)

There are 4 of them in the front row and they are all short bushes with plenty of tops, I'm excited.
