Not sure what your trying to say there buddy. But let me break this down for you people.. if you get pulled over for speeding; running a stop sign; etc.. whatever. And the cop walks up to the side of your car and if he thinks he smells marijuana.. he HAS the right to search you.. period. It's called 'Probable Cause'.

Trust me, I'm fairly up to date on current laws.

Rule #1: IF you ever have to go out and get a bag.. fine. But do yourself a favor and make sure you don't have more on you than you can eat. And never, NEVER.. drive/travel in a vehicle with bongs or pipes. That's just ignorant, period.

I dont know where all you guys live but everytime a cop as pulled me over and said it smelled like pot a search of my vehicle as ALWAYS followed EVERYTIME.....they dont even ask me they just say it smells like pot step out the car please....Not even giving me an option to say no..they just say step out....and then they star the search....... I guess im just one unlucky mother fucker cause i never have cops just back down to me if i start acting like i know the law,,,,,infact it seems to only piss them off further fueling there search......Im not saying i know the law im just saying what is and what has happin to me.

Now i jus tell them ya i have medical cannibas in my bag and then i hand them my doctors note......just easyer to get it out the way so i can be on my way..

However One time before i had my note i got pulled over walking lol cop said i saw you buy a bag off that guy and then said can i search your bag.......I said no you cant search my bag.....He looked right at me and said " i dont care im searching it anyway" lol then he pulled out my bag put it in his pocket and told me to walk away....lol im pretty sure if i had agreed to the search he would have gave me a ticket.....So on the other hand sometimes its better to say no.....i guess it just depends on the situation......Ever since i got my note i pretty much dont give a fuck about the police as long as im not high while driving i dont give a fuck what the cops says i got my note he isnt going to do shit about it.......

Hi mike, actually smell is not probable cause in a medical state and Dex isnt required to answer questions regarding the smell. Like he said, talk to my lawyer haha excellent response.

About 3-4 years ago I was pulled over one night in my van, broken tail light lenz. I do construction. During the stop the cop asked if I had any guns or bombs in the truck and I said no.

He then asked if he could search the van and I said no, absolutly not, BUT if he wanted I would empty the truck and he could watch but he could not search it. He staired at me for a while like a deer in the headlights and didn't know what to say. He let me go and I didn't get any ticket. Had he said yes I would have taken 1-2 hours to s l o w l y empty it, I had lots of stuff in the back.

In this instance because I interupted his known thought pattern of what would be said and presented him with a 3rd option that he had never been exposed to or taught it kind of shorted out what he knew to do and say.
