Police Interactions.

Dear President Biden,
we need an executive order that makes interfering with video and other recording of police on duty, especially by other police or first responders, to be a Federal crime carrying a mandatory prison sentence in general population.

Front and back of officers too. And 360 degree views on cop cars with full mic. On at all times and instantly reviewable by station.

Nothing brings change like accountability
Accountability is important.

In most situations if a person buys a service and they don't like the service they have the option of using a different service provider and are no longer obligated (forced) to pay for the service provider they don't like. This sends a market feedback signal to the lousy service provider that if they want to stay in business, they need to change something.

Of course, with present policing, the model is based on a forcible monopoly. Until that changes, and consumers of policing / security services have options, not much will change.

Consumer feedback and the ability to abandon lousy service providers is an essential part of accountabilty.

That doesn't mean there wouldn't be shithead or incompete policing service providers if competition were the norm, but people would no longer be forced to subsidize THOSE parasites and could go to a service provider that delivers better service.

It's called a free market and it's the solution to shitty cops. More choices benefit consumers and punish poor service providers.
